Holly McCauley on less is more

Photography by Amelia Fullarton for Home by the Sea, published by Hardie Grant

There is one universal principle that applies to so many areas of life – less is more. Come listen to how this plays out in designing everything from books to homes with designer Holly McCauley, who I have had the pleasure to work with on my last two books ‘Style’ and ‘Home by the Sea’. She shares her creative journey to working as a designer for magazines and books, as well as some of the big lessons she’s learnt along the way. Also, Holly shares how she and an artist friend managed to launch a wildly successful gallery, Yeah Nice, with no budget and no time commitment.
