Hardware is the last thing added to your space but is actually one of the first things you need to think about when establishing your materials palette.

Consider it in relation to your cabinetry, your walls, colours, materials and any other accessories that you plan to use within your space. By gathering samples of each material together and creating a palette you will be able to have a clear picture of your overall design.

If you’re looking to create a calm, subtle space, adding aged brass can add warmth and softness. In juxtaposition to this, iron will create contrast for more of statement look. It all comes down to the mood and the feel you want to create.
