Private Local
Design Consult

A personalised on-site consult to refine ideas, resolve key decisions, and establish a clear, cohesive direction for your interiors.

Why an In-Person Design Consult?

The best spaces are created in context — seen, felt, and experienced in real time. This is an opportunity for you to have an experienced set of eyes look over your space, resolve key issues, and help you move forward with clarity.

If you're local to Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers region, an in-person consult gives us the chance to walk through your home together, talk through what's not working, and figure out the best way forward. We can test ideas on the spot, see how the spaces actually flow and function, embrace natural light and the aspect of each room, and make decisions in real time — which is limited when done over a screen.

Whether you're feeling stuck before you start or mid-renovation and overwhelmed by the many decisions you need to make, this session is about giving you the clarity and direction you need to move ahead with confidence.

  • Your Local Design Consult includes an immersive 90-minute in-person session at your home or on site, followed by an hour of dedicated follow-up support to help you put what we discussed into action.

    Post-visit support may include:

    • A written summary of our session with priortised action steps

    • Materials, finishes, and furniture recommendations tailored to your brief

    • Sourcing suggestions from trusted local and national suppliers

    • Reference imagery to keep your vision on track

    • Floor plan or layout advice based on your specific needs

    • Supplier contacts and trade recommendations relevant to your project

This design consult is ideal whether you’re building, renovating, decorating, or simply want expert eyes on your project so you can move forward with confidence.

  • Once you book, you'll receive a calendar link to book a time that’s convenient for you.

You’ll also get a short questionnaire to help me understand your project, your style, and the key decisions you're facing. The more I know before I arrive, the more we can achieve together.

On the day, we'll walk through your home (or the rooms you most want to focus on), talk through what's working, what isn't, and map out a clear path forward.

After the visit, you'll receive your follow-up summary within five business days.

  • To make the most of our time together, please send any relevant information about your project at least one week prior to our meeting. This helps us make the most of our time together.

    Consider sharing the following:

    • A list of your biggest questions or decisions — the ones keeping you up at night

    • Any floor plans, builder drawings, or renovation documents

    • Inspiration images or mood boards (a Pinterest board is ideal)

    • Samples of any materials, paint colours, or selections you're already considering

    • Notes on how you live in the space — who uses it, how, and what's not working

  • Every session is tailored to you. Here are some of the ways I've helped local clients:

    • Renovation & New Build: Floor plan review, layout advice, material selection, lighting specifications, and design direction to avoid costly mistakes before you commit

    • Interior Styling: Pulling together a cohesive look using what you have, plus targeted additions that elevate the whole space

    • Colour & Finishes: Choosing a palette that works with your light, your architecture, and the feeling you want to create

    • Selections & Sourcing: Knowing what to buy, where to find it, and how to make it work in your specific space

    • Pre-Sale Styling: Preparing your home to photograph and present beautifully — without an expensive overhaul

    • The 'Stuck' Session: For when you've lost confidence in your decisions and need a trusted, experienced perspective to get moving again

The Process

01

Book Your Consult

Reserve your session online. Spaces are limited each month, so once you've secured your date, you'll receive a short questionnaire to complete before we meet.

02

Gather Your Materials

Fill in the questionnaire and gather anything relevant — inspiration images, floor plans, samples, or simply a list of the decisions you're stuck on.

03

Meet On Site

I’ll come to you. We'll walk through your space together, talk through what's working and what isn't, and map out a clear direction for your project.

“Natalie is total pro. She is efficient, decisive and extremely knowledgeable, and has an expert eye that comes from years of experience on all things interiors.
